After the rise of the colors of the 54 countries of Africa by the pioneers of Mali, there was the singing of the national anthem of Mali.

The director of the « Tour de l’Afrique » presented the decor of the ceremony which is the appointment of two international artists including the diva of Bougouni Mrs. Nahawa Doumbia of Mali as ambassador of pan-Africanism, that is to say ambassador of united kingdoms of africa. A highly important gesture that Nahawa Doumbia warmly congratulated for the choice made on her.

Then the godmother moved on to Nahawa Doumbia, the scarf stamped with the national colors of Mali. Then, the pan-Africanism badge was placed on her outfit by Ms. Maïga Mariam.

In fact, the internationally renowned artist had advocated a lot for peace between Mali and Burkina Faso. « I pray to god I don’t disappoint, » she said.

For President Mohamed Bamba, the choice fell on the diva Nahawa Doumbia thanks to her fight for el Pan-Africanism. « Besides, during the conflict between Mali and Burkina Faso, she contributed a lot through her songs to appease hearts and minds, » added President Bamba.

In addition to this appointment, continues President Bamba, a cultural center will be built in the name of Nahawa Doumbia in order to perpetuate his works for Pan-Africanism.
As for the director of the “Tour d’Afrique”, Ms. Maïga Mariam, she thanked the highest authorities of Mali from independence to the present day for the efforts made for Pan-Africanism. “Since independence, it has been inscribed in Mali’s guestbook that our country is ready to leave part of its sovereignty for African unity. This is why we are gathered today in the house of Africa”, she recalled. Also, the director thanked her department which spares no effort to promote this idea of ​​African unity. Speaking of the choice of Nahawa Doumbia who « was chosen by the 54 countries of the continent to be the ambassador of Pan-Africanism because of her long-standing fight for unity, good living together ».
